He's a big boy, and growing like a weed- because of that, we've been taking our time, working on groundwork and all the things a show horse has to know. He's ready for a rider whenever you are, and will make an outstanding 3yo maiden. Very trainable, he is great for baths, the farrier, the vet, clipping, standing tied and all the basics. 2013 Bay Roan grade QH mare. !5.2 h As a "rescue" she got a late start in life. Since then, she's been brought along slowly and correctly. Handled mostly by a consummate, but cautious, Amateur and handy kids she's got some trail miles- both locally and Otter Creek, alone and in small groups. She's coming along in her arena training but is still quite green. She ties, trailers, and bathes like a professional. Good for vet, and her behavior for the farrier is improving. Currently shod all the way around in consideration of rough and rocky trail terrain. Best suited for a confident, intermediate or above rider or even a trainer that wants a project. There's a lot of untapped potential here- either as a top notch trail horse or ranch type show horse. She is a fairly sensitive mare, and prefers to be a one person horse.
