This one is a personal favorite. She's been game to try EVERYTHING I've thrown at her... except going fast.
Finished driving horse, broke to buggy and farm equipment. Bred, raised, trained and loved by a local Amish family. Last date driven- August 2024.
Well started under saddle and down the trail. We've had beginners on her in the arena. We've crossed shallow water, trees, dealt with dogs and chased chickens, and even rode out during a wind storm with tree limbs falling all around us. She's been out alone, and in company and is the same every time. So long as we make an attempt at setting her up for success she meets or exceeds expectations.
This is the mare you need if your idea of a good time is a leisurely trail ride with friends while sipping an adult beverage.
She is NEVER in a hurry and the word "whoa" is her gospel.
Ties wonderfully. Great for farrier, clipping, vacuum and all grooming and pampering. Good for vet and baths. Currently shod up front to protect her from hard, inconsistent surfaces.
Has had at least one foal- a filly that is a spitting, spicier, image of her dam.

This great moving, talented girl is the definition of a "back-burner" horse. Her undersaddle time has been hit-and-miss with 4 or 5 months of training over the course of 4 years. That was no fault of her own- sometimes life has a way of interfering with our dreams. The mare's owner has finally decided to let her go to someone that can dedicate the time to giving the mare the training, and exposure to really bloom.
"Liv" has the talent to literally be just about anything- a hunt seat horse, pleasure horse, or, in our opinion a VERY competitive Ranch Rail / Ranch Riding horse.
She loves to be groomed, ties and hauls well. She's ok for the farrier and is currently barefoot. She has never had shoes. Liv is tolerant of the vet.
